Got my first bonsai here and they were super helpful with getting me started! We want to cover our backyard with native flowers to help butterflies and bees and the man working took a chunk out of his day just to sit and write us a list of everything that would be helpful for native wildlife but easy for us to maintain as well as where to plant it (shade v sun) it always makes my heart happy to see people so passionate about their job. Will definitely be back!

I came in this morning looking for advice, and met a lovely chap called Mike who was kind enough to share a little information about planting and gave some suggestions for my situation (shady North-facing porch) that I would not have gotten if I just searched online. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, Mike! You really went out of your way for me.

A 5 star experience for a recent Mother’s Day arrangement of flowers. There is no day like Mother’s Day and making it special for Mom. So the idea of a permanent planted arrangement seemed like something perfect for the patio. McDonald’s was contacted over the phone a week + out before Mother’s Day. I worked with Patrice who emailed different ideas they could do from pots to plants etc. He was so passionate about his trade and left me even more excited that he alone would be the point. Ultimately hydrangeas was chosen as the plant with sweet potatoes. They had many pots to choose from, but a more neutral with a butterfly seemed perfect. The cost was $97. Patrice assured that the plant would be watered and ready for pick up days before Mother’s Day. On Saturday I went to McDonald’s and after locating Patrice he rolled the plant out. I must say I was overwhelmed with the size. It was huge and gorgeous! Patrice did a video of care instructions as he took ownership of seeing everything through. He also at no charge through in a ceramic tray to hep with transport, but also for any leakage of water with a weep hole at the bottom. The delivery was marvelous and enjoyed by Mom. I cann

As someone who lives and breathes all things green, McDonald Garden Center feels like a second home to my soul. Every visit here is a gentle escape into a world blooming with color, fragrance, and quiet joy. Season after season, I find myself hauling home armfuls of leafy treasures — vibrant annuals in spring, cozy mums in autumn, festive greens in winter, and cheerful blooms in summer. Their plants are always healthy, well cared for, and brimming with promise. The staff truly understands the heart of a plant lover — they’re warm, patient, and generous with their wisdom. Whether I’m searching for a new native perennial or just wandering for inspiration, I always leave with a little more beauty (and probably one more plant than I planned for!). McDonald’s is more than a garden center… it’s a sanctuary for those of us enchanted by nature.

We visited here on our way back from a road trip, I’m SO happy we made the stop. This place exceeded my expectations, I wanted to look a plants but little did I know this place is plant PARADISE and I’d be spending way more time here than expected! The selection of houseplants is overwhelming but in the best way possible. I had never seen so many plants before, honestly. I left with a rare find that is now my staple piece in my little plant jungle! Everything here is magical. Plants are well taken care of and well established, everything is organized and fully stocked up, and the staff were all very friendly. The previous reviews are correct, it can be more on the pricey side here. But in my opinion, WELL worth it. You can tell they take pride in their product!! This place is huge, I didn’t even get to see it all. For sure plan a trip to this magical garden center!! Grab a friend, grab your mom, get some coffee on the way.. make it a whole day because it’s an attraction for sure!
